 PROJECT: JOURNEY MIDDLE SCHOOL SEWAGE TREATMENT & DISPOSAL THROUGH CONSTRUCTED WETLAND AND INFILTRATION BED
 LOCATION: Sooke, B.C.
 OWNER: School District No. 62 (Sooke)
 DESCRIPTION: This is an ecologically sensitive site. The 55 m3/d treatment plant consists of a septic tank, equalization, a multi-cell extended aeration activated sludge process, secondary clarifier, effluent subsurface flow wetland and infiltration bed. The renovated water is collected by a subsurface interceptor trench and discharged to a storm sewer. Works included creek diversion around the site.
 ROLE: Prime consultant, pre- and detail design, cost estimating, discharge permit negotiations, construction supervision and commissioning.
