 PROJECT: EVALUATION OF GROUNDWATER TREATMENT OPTIONS
 LOCATION: Nazko, B.C.
 OWNER: Nazko Band Government
 DESCRIPTION: Evaluation of treatment options for three wells, including conceptual design, preparation of capital, operating and maintenance cost estimates. Groundwater from the wells required removal of total organic carbon, iron, manganese, total dissolved solids, sodium, and/or arsenic. Treatment methods investigated included activated carbon filtration, use of mixed oxidants, manganese greensand filtration, iron oxide filtration for arsenic removal, point-of-use reverse osmosis.
