| DESCRIPTION: A 19 unit residential complex
installed light and dark grey water treatment process from baths
and sinks consisting of primary treatment, biofiltration, slow
sand filtration, ozonation and chlorination. The reused water
is used for flushing toilets. The treatment system failed to operate as intended in spite of repeated attempts at fixing the problem over several years. NovaTec was retained to conduct a facility assessment, implement facility modifications, overview operation of the facility and monitor its performance. |
