| DESCRIPTION: An 11m3/d natural treatment
system enclosed in a solar greenhouse containing fixed growth
media, constructed wetland and hydroponic reactors with reuse
of the renovated water for irrigation and toilet/urinal flushing,
thereby reducing potable water needs for the facility by about
75%. System also designed as a teaching tool for sustainable
water conservation strategies. |
