DESCRIPTION: Site constraints necessitated
a 75.6 m3/d treatment and disposal system to serve 1,200 students.
The system includes septic tank, equalization tanks, advanced
activated sludge treatment plant with nitrogen and phosphorous
removal, constructed wetland, storage tank, chlorination, and
dechlorination. In summer, the effluent is spray irrigated. In
winter it is discharged to infiltration bed and collected by
a subsurface interceptor for discharge to a storm sewer. System
operation is monitored by PLC. |

permit negotiations, detail design, construction supervision,
commissioning and start-up assistance. |
