| DESCRIPTION: A 35 m3/d extended
aeration activated sludge treatment plant serving up to a 186
person mining camp. The treatment plant was constructed out of
wood on site, lined with an asphaltic urethane lining, and enclosed
in a weatherproof enclosure. The treatment process also includes
an equalization, foam control, disinfection with chlorine, sludge
thickening, and aerated sludge digestion. |
