DESCRIPTION: An environmental impact assessment
of Jiuhua Mountain containing some of the most sacred Budhist
shrines in China and an assessment of ten sewage treatment plants
ranging in capacity between 80 and 1,000 m3/d, and serving Huangshan
Mountain, a major tourist destination in China. The studies also
included data collection, site visits, reparation of a social
impact and gender equality study, and a technology transfer workshop.
