| DESCRIPTION: Effluent from a
bleached kraft, pulp and paper mill and a recycling mill with
a flow of 100,000 m3/d and a BOD load of 27 t/d is treated by
a four cell activated sludge treatment plant allowing parallel,
series or mixed flow modes. The treatment process also includes
pH adjustment, nutrient addition, three1250 HP single stage centrifugal
blowers for aeration, coarse bubble aeration, secondary clarifiers,
aerated spill basin, rotary sludge thickeners, sludge screw presses
and DCS control. |
