| DESCRIPTION: The effluent treatment plant
handles a flow of 28,000 m3/d and a BOD load of 25 t/d. Treatment
consists of a spill basin, pH adjustment, primary clarifier,
four cell activated sludge basin, nutrient addition, mechanical
surface aerators, gravity belt sludge thickening and sludge screw
press. |
