DESCRIPTION: Environmental forensics investigation ongoing to determine the source of chlorinated solvents (PCE, TCE, 1,1,1-TCA1,1,DCE) and 1,2-dichlorobenzene contamination at a site that has changed owners in the past 25 years. Advanced Forensic Techniques used include hydrolysis equation for dating groundwater contamination, molar ratios, date aging parent chlorinated solvent, geostatistical analysis, degradation rates, aerial photography interpretation, and aerobic/anaerobic degradation potential.
