| PROJECT: ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY VERIFICATION
(ETV) OF BIOSOLIDS PRODUCT |
| LOCATION: Vancouver, B.C. |
DESCRIPTION: A biorecovery facility was
seeking to use its product as animal feed supplement. The facility
treats biodegradable wastes using an Autothermal Thermophilic
Aerobic digestion (ATAD) process. The ETV verification program
involved developing a sampling protocol followed by a sampling
program that included extensive analytical testing plus solids
screening (sieve analysis), identification and classification
into seven categories of
distinguishable materials in samples. |
| ROLE: Sampling protocol development
and sampling. |
